Hello, I'm Mr. Taster in Kuwait, and today I'm planning to visit the one of the oldest restaurants, café, and fish market in Kuwait, called Bazaar Mubarakiya. I'll provide you with a report on their fish market.
First, we went to a Kuwaiti restaurant with over 100 years of history called Freej Swaeleh.
We enjoyed a variety of traditional Arabic dishes like Maklouba and Majboos Leham. The cozy restaurant bakes delicious bread in a traditional oven and serves flavorful coffee. The spread includes pickled garlic, Mabooch, Luqaimat, and spicy Kuwaiti chili. Tabbouleh, green salad, and Fattoush were served alongside Jareesh and Kabooth, a delightful dish with bread, meat broth, eggplant, dried lemon, and chili. Majboos Leham, featuring fish, tomato sauce, and Kuwaiti Majboos Mutton with Zubaidi fish, is exceptional. Saffron rice with chicken, along with various sauces, completes the amazing culinary experience.
Then, we visited a cafe with a charming atmosphere in Bazaar Mubarakiya, it’s a 130-year-old tea shop, originally from Iran. The atmospheric café, founded by the owner's father, features charcoal stoves and serves two types of tea – Iranian tea with sugar in glass cups and lemon tea. The traditional method involves pouring tea into a saucer and sipping it with sugar. The Persian tea with saffron is a must-try for its exquisite taste and aroma.
Afterward, we went to the largest fish market in Kuwait, located in Bazaar Mubarakiya. It was a bustling market with a wide variety of fish being sold is a serious but fascinating way.

I am in Mumbai, a very beautiful and energetic city, and with my dear friend, an elegant lady, Anmol, we came to Britannia & Co. Restaurant a Persian restaurant with 100 years history.
The restaurant has a very homely, old, and cool atmosphere with lots of customers.
They serve both Indian and Iranian dishes here. We tried the Iranian Zereshk Polo with chicken in the Indian version which has dried lime and a separate chutney masala on the side. I really didn't expect it, but it was very delicious. The mix with the masala was also astonishing; the Iranian and Indian mix turned out very cool. The next dish was Sali Boti which was actually mutton that I tried with roti bread. It was exceptionally juicy and spicy. Then we tried their Patra fish with green chutney on top, which had a sweet and soft taste that's very famous and loved in Mumbai; it's truly mouth-watering and excellent. Before serving the food, we also had their spicy ginger, raspberry, and ice cream soda which had an amazing taste.
The dishes I tried are must-tries if you come here because they are unique. For dessert, we tried their recommended caramel cream which was truly perfect. If you come here, don't end your meal without trying this caramel.

Hey there, I'm Mr. Taster, on my way to Kuwait with Fly Dubai. Big thanks to Fly Dubai for the amazing service and flight – they've made this journey absolutely fantastic!
I’m planning to create some exciting videos featuring famous and popular Kuwaiti dishes. I’ll be accompanied by my good friend Kapitan Abed. But first things first, we went to the renowned tailor shop Nasooz Khalij known for crafting the finest Kuwaiti attire. We measured up for them to tailor a suitable dishdasha (Kuwaiti clothes) for me, and I’ll pick it up tomorrow.
Then we went to get ghutra and agal that are worn on the head
Afterward, we went to the luxurious Iranian restaurant Molouk Shandiz, where Kapitan Abed showcases his culinary artistry. This restaurant, located next to the Symphony Hotel in Kuwait, skillfully prepares Iranian dishes. The table was filled with delicious Iranian specialties, including a special kebab tray for Kapitan Abed. It featured various Iranian kebabs: Shish Kebabs, Lamb Chops, Chicken Kebab, Barg Kebab, and Iranian Koobideh Kebab, served with Iranian saffron-infused rice, which was incredibly tasty and high-quality. The fish dishes were also delightful, with tender textures that melted in the mouth, accompanied by Baghali Polo (fava bean rice) and were superb.
This restaurant, with its exceptional cuisine, has drawn many fans among Kuwaiti residents and Iranian expatriates in Kuwait. It truly deserves the recognition. Afterward, we visited the Symphony Hotel in Al-Salmiya, Kuwait, a vibrant hotel with a cartoon-like color scheme. It offers an exciting and diverse breakfast, a great café, and a restaurant with tasty dishes. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the overall facilities, including the spa and pool, are exceptional.
