⁣Mokhtabad sings the 16th century Persian masterpiece "⁣ Tamanaye vesal". Written by the Persian polymath Baha. This poem might be interpreted as a clever poke and ridicule aimed at organized religion, cryptic enough to avoid trouble from clerics.

It is a little past 2:30 AM October 9 2024, See the drone show along with fireworks before Tropicana hotel (former home of the "Rat Pack" - Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Peter Lawford, Joey Bishop, Angie Dickinson) is imploded .
Most of this video is the fanfare before the demolition, you can skip forword to the demolition itself at time index 6:40.
This was recorded on a Samsung Galaxy phone, but never the less, the bass sound of the final implosion really captured the moment!
Note, you can see the West Tower come down clearly, but the East tower is obscured and further away so you can mostly just see the aftermath and sound from the second tower going down.

Emotional scene from third episode of the glamourous ABC TV series "Pan Am", where the lovely and most charming Colette Valois (French-Canadian actress Karine Vanasse °24 November 1983) sings the first verse of the German national anthem. In this series, she's French and was about three years old when the Germans invaded her country and killed some family members. She wants to forgive them and move on with her life, but she finds it very hard to do (understandably), by singing this song at a party (for JFK) at the US mission in West Berlin. Great performance !
